Watermark Place
967 EVO260 EC-DC fan coils being delivered May 08, through to September 08. a prestigious contract overlooking the river Thames. As part of the project, Ability are carrying out thermal and acoustic testing.
Birmingham New Hospital
Over 1300 fan coils in various hospital buildings. A design and build project negotiated with Haden Young. A mixture of in-ceiling and vertically mounted units.
Drapers Gardens, London
Due to commence manufacturing in September 08, Ability have secured an order for 700 EC-DC fan coils. Units are selected in accordance with a strict noise requirement.
Embassy Court
A high specification residential project developed by Harrods Estate Management, Ability are supplying 154 ultra quiet Zeus vertically mounted fan coils for bedroom and living areas. Having supplied units on 2 previous projects, the Consultant worked alongside Ability to engineer a product that would be both quiet and fit within the space constraints dictated by the Architect.
Microsoft Building
Now completed, over 300 Matrix EC-Dc fan coils were supplied. It has been commented by the Contractor FCS, that commissioning was three times faster than a conventional fan coil.
T5, Heathrow
Having demonstrated the EC-DC fan coil, amec and their customer appreciated the energy efficiency and control flexibility. We received orders totalling over 600 units for office, and public areas. Units were modified to suit access and maintenance requirements. As part of the specification, units were acoustically and thermally tested prior to the order being placed.
Northern rock, Rainton Bridge
Our Matrix unit has been well received by designers and installers. N.G Bailey placed an order for 442 units complete with BACNET controls. Not only does the package offer great energy savings, but also with the laptop WIFI air commissioning, substantial labour savings were made by the contractor.
Sony
A major refit of this prominent building involved the installation of over 230 Titan fan coils. As the architect utilised ceiling rafts, rather than traditional ceilings, special care had to be taken with the selection of units to meet the very tight noise levels.
New Providence Wharf (Ontario Tower)
Split into residential and Radisson hotel, nearly 1000 units were installed. The units were low noise to meet NR25 nightime and NR30 during the day. Residntail units were controlled by a Siemens package which was also linked to the underfloor heating.
DfES
An ongoing refurbishment of the DfES government building used in excess of 1100 EVO260 EC-Dc fan coils. Units were delivered in stages to allow evening and weekend installation by the contractor. Both the Consultant and the QS visited our works prior to order placement to witness our manufacturing and testing methods.
40 Spring Gardens
Carried out in 2 phases, 214 off Trojan 4 pipe fan coils were supplied. The project was design and build and the eventual tenants were HBOS
Intercontinental Hotel, Hyde Park Corner
A very prestigious project for Ability. Using our Titan range of fan coils, over 450 units were supplied through 2 contractors. Quietness and quality were the number one priorities for the Consultant.
