Apollo
The Apollo 180 is a slim line horizontal chassis, 4 pipe waterside fan coil unit. Measuring only 180mm deep, the unit comes in a range of four sizes and capacities and has been developed to suit applications where ceiling height is very limited.
The unit offers cooling capacities up to 7.4kW and heating capacities up to 5.04 kW. Considerable design flexibility is built into the Apollo with squared fronted or mitred discharge plenums, inlet plenum options, modulating control packages and numerous other variations. A particularly useful feature - pioneered by Ability - retains valves, electrical controls and condensate tray within the limits of the unit's footprint. This helps eliminate damage during delivery and site movements without compromising installation or commissioning.
Built around another robust and proven ebm-papst fan and motor combination, the Apollo fan coil unit has been acoustically tested at the Sound Research Laboratory. Every unit is supplied with a speed control transformer with 6 speed tappings, enabling Ability to wire each unit to the 3 speeds most appropriate to the project.
Further options include electric heater batteries, condensate pumps, BMS controls, integral volume control dampers and many others.
