Trojan

The Trojan fan coil unit incorporates the same performance components as the Ability Titan and Atlas ranges and so retains their outstanding output capabilities. However, the unit construction has been streamlined and the options limited to allow simpler, ‘Fast Track’ manufacture and a consequently a more cost effective fan coil solution for your project.

The Trojan’s substantial electric enclosure is a fitted to the side of the fan coil on the same end as the coil and condensate terminations. Trojan will therefore comfortably accept any style of controller from any manufacturer. Ability will fit and test any control package you may decide upon be it free issued to us or bought by Ability.

Fan speed is affected through a tapped wound transformer, one speed switch and one ‘fine trim’ speed adjuster. The main speed switch is used to set the chosen speed and the fine trim switch is there to make further subtle adjustments. This ensures that all the fan coils in an installation give close to 100% of the required air volume even when duct runs and external resistances inevitably vary. Remember, if infinite speed adjustment is required, consider our DC/EC motor option.

Many optional extras are still available on Trojan and include; intake plenums, electric heating, condensate pumps, fresh air intake spigots and the fitting of controls.

Circular discharge spigot connections are provided off the integral discharge plenum coil in either 200mm or 250mm diameter format with a rectangular spigot connection as an option.
