Swiss RE

Swiss Re - Ability's largest project to date.

Another contract specified out of Hilson Moran in Farnborough. When complete the building will contain close to 1200 special Titan fan coils and a number of large vertical 'high capacity meeting room' type units.

The majority of fan coils at Swiss re were the larger sizes of Titan with nominally 30-35 utilised per floor over 39 of the 42 floor building. Internally, the building was arranged with a central core and six floor segments around the periphery which were occasionally omitted to allow a two floor view.

Ceiling void depths were generous and so many fan coils had downward facing spigot connections along with an extended intake section to enhance acoustic performance and provide better fresh and return air mixing.

Swiss Re employed SAV Manifold Commissioning Systems on the upper floors.
