Albion Riverside, Battersea, London

Albion Riverside, a Sir Norman Foster, groundbreaking residential development which ultimately toped out at 874 units for Ability. Fan Coils went into 8 floors of apartments with the top floor being penthouses. Some apartments were bought in pairs, then joined and Ability worked with Meica to rearrange the schedules as apartment sales progressed.

The building was configured into four core sections, each colour coded. Every fan coil was labelled with both its unit reference and colour coded so that it went directly to the correct core.

Units were specially extended to enhance acoustic quality and had special modified filters as service access was limited. All units were tested for performance and acoustics in combination with the correct grilles and ductwork to give a total project performance guarantee.

Other projects where this testing approach has been used have been Holiday Expresses, Radisson at Stanstead, Riverbank Plaza and Art Hotels to name but a few. Albion Riverside employed SAV Manifold Commissioning Systems throughout.
