We were approached by the Consultant, Amber Management, to provide fan coil selections on this very large project. Whilst the brief was for a standard 4 pipe system, Ability suggested enhancing the package with a E.C powered motor alternative.

The obvious benefit of major running cost savings were a great attraction, however, when the Consultant determined that pipe, pump and chiller sizes could also be reduced, the advantages of the package were there for all to see.

The units were selected to meet a noise level of NR38 and ranged from cooling duties of 1 to 7kw cooling.

Since this project was completed, Ability have introduced a communicating controls package that can also control the EC fan speed under the dictates of the BMS.
