The Palestra Building, another landmark project, situated on Broad Street south of the Thames.
When complete the building will contain 750 Titan fan coil units, distributed over 12 floors, which will have been supplied over about 8 months. Free issue Invensys controls were fitted to these 4 pipe, heating and cooling units.
An interesting feature of this building is that the top floors will be 'offset' from the other floors meaning that on two sides, the top floor will over hang the road by varying degrees.
Also, many of the structural elements have purposely been designed at unusual angles which promoted many phone calls from the general public asking if they' realised their building was not straight!'
